 IDT Corp. Elects Three to Board of Directors

Former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld, NJIT Pres. Saul Fenster and IDT CFO, Stephen Brown will Join IDT Board.
 

Newark, NJ - February 25, 2000 - IDT Corp. (NASDAQ:IDTC) is pleased to announce that former Massachusetts Governor William Weld, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) President Saul Fenster and IDT Chief Financial Officer, Stephen Brown have been elected to the IDT Board of Directors. IDT Corp. is a leading multinational carrier, telephone company, and Internet Service Provider.

In addition to being the former two-term Governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Weld is currently the partner-in -charge at the New York offices of the international law firm McDermott, Will and Emery. The firm has 850 attorneys in 12 offices worldwide. Mr. Weld is a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard and a cum laude Harvard Law School and holds a Diploma in International Economics from Oxford University.

During his tenure as Massachusetts Governor, he helped create the favorable business climate that earned the State the reputation as the Silicon Valley of the Northeast." Newly elected Director Dr. Saul K. Fenster is President of the prestigious New Jersey Institute of Technology. Dr. Fenster is by profession a mechanical engineer, who has served as Senior Research Engineer with the Sperry Rand Corporation. In his more than two decades at NJIT, Dr. Fenster pioneered the creation of the universally admired "business enterprise development centers," where new businesses are conceived and incubated at the University as part of the curriculum.

Also elected to the IDT board is Stephen B. Brown, who has served as Chief Financial Officer of IDT since May, 1995.
